This minnu thali is used as mangalsutra by the Kerala Christians. This Ela Leaf Cross Thali has a leaf shaped base on which 13 diamonds are studded on a straight line, which is a part of the cross. Then another 8 diamonds are used to make the cross complete. It is provided with a loop which can be used to let the chain through it.
